PAOLA FERLA

It has been a few months in which I personally happened all. From January to June, I officially started exhibiting some Telis’works around Europe and I have enjoyed the Sicilian&Sunny summer. Sadly passed away in October, the young and talented artist Paola Ferla – see previous article – ex-girlfriend in youth, fraternally friend, to support and love unconditionally.

Compassionate and sanguine temperament, combined with a natural flair and mastery   to use many artistic techniques and materials.

A brief and intense life, Burning Flame! Rare Human Being! She is the expression most tenderly authentic as a “maudit” absolute artist.

“Usually with my works, I want to convey my personal view of this globe sick, from innermost emotions to the news world. I think the beautiful landscapes, the joyful faces and carefree, they are only flashes of moments that go by too quickly to enjoy it and gain some sort of inner well-being. What we are forced daily called survival, dictated by a human race gone mad, thirsty. As opposed to the Nature, the Strategist, the Man, true cancer of this planet; who leaves no time material needed to enjoy the essence of things, people, animals indeed, encourages us to eat them thoughtlessly. Fit to all this means to switch off slowly the nature of their person and identify with a stereotype standardized human, who can communicate, live and fight with this “occidentalized society”. Fit to all this means letting fade in the hope that dreams reclaim their existence: OFTEN THE DREAMS ARE REALITIES THAT THE SOCIETY MAKES UTOPIA”

****

When the chest will hang in a movng languor
as a small cherry tree / triunphant / at the slopes of a volcano
frineds&strangers will smile / hungry / vitality&histerical strengths
the agony shall beat of sweetness / the ecstasy of tremendous sighs

When inside the chest the anxiety’ll thunder for the fire
slowly / in the distance / using every breathe
a cheerful heart / playing torture / before perishing exultant
it will invite you to Life / to celebrate

dried fields&immovable deserts
those from to be moldy they’ll become glazed
and their Cycles / Huge Way / shall be awakened
by a Certain Dreadful Tremor / Torrential Allaying Rain

It will save bad ones without lips & roads full of hale men
quieting the drattings of thirst & ashes of the losers
So do not ever settle mud on the cilia of the pupils
until the awakening of the river will be respectful of its banks

and sparkling fishes shall yodel to be still alive
because their unharmed brests will slip on the smooth river stones
and Life will supplicate to be present / no regret
at her fluid and visceral game / no return
